QFES Fire Station & Regional Headquarters for Q-Build

We completed the Charlton QFES Fire Station and Regional Headquarters in February 2021, a new emergency precinct centralising the region’s State Emergency Service, Rural Fire Service and Fire & Rescue Service. The fire station has four fire bays for specialist units, technical rescue and hazmat vehicles. The naturally lit central building has extensive glazing and state-of-the-art technology in the operations centre and communications room. Look closely, you’ll see the burning calendar public art feature approaching the new headquarters entrance.
