The University of Queensland Central Energy Plant

Gatton, Qld
$18 million

We worked with the University in 2019 on their infrastructure upgrade to increase the Gatton campus’s capacity for renewable energy. We upgraded the existing power infrastructure and installed a 16m high, 3 million litre water tank manufactured from glass coated steel providing both durability and aesthetics. Not only will the new facility deliver energy efficient air conditioning across the campus, but its integration with the existing solar farm (that we also built) will create ongoing operational and energy consumption cost savings for UQ.
